Tong (Joy) Lu is currently a senior at Caltech majoring in economics and computation and neural systems. She is an undergraduate research assistant in the Rangel Neuroeconomics Laboratory, mentored by postdoctoral scholar Cendri Hutcherson. Her research interests include examining the visual cues that influence consumer choice and using mouse tracking to understand the time course of the decision making process. After graduating from Caltech, she plans to attend business school for a Ph.D. in marketing, to integrate techniques from neuroeconomics with traditional methods used in MarkUpeting science to understand the underlying neural mechanisms involved in consumer behavior.
