Jon 9 is a digital artist and technologist who designs and programs complex video installations for art, entertainment, education, exhibition, architecture and commerce. He started programming videowall systems in the 1980s and has continued to aggressively explore the intersection of art and technology through the multi-screen medium. He is currently based in Los Angeles where he is developing Cinema XC – a stereoscopic “expanded cinema” format using immersive videowalls at 40K resolution.
